Does Melex F.I.S. accept credit cards?
At this time we do not accept payment except Checks, Wire Transfers & ACH payments.
Where are we located and what are our business hours?
We are located at 3208 Wellington Court Suite 110 Raleigh, NC 27615. Our office hours are - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Eastern Time) , Monday through Friday
What do the H, L, or M mean on the end of our Tip part numbers?
We classify all our Tips as either H - High, L - Low, M - Medium based on how they flow test after production. All fall within the OEM specified flows for each part but we go a step further to specify which range they fall within standard flow ranges to better assist our customer in matching tips and P&B's to flow as they require.
What do the H, L, and M mean on the end of our P&B part numbers?
We classify all our P&B's as either H - High, L - Low, and M - Medium based on effective stroke after production. All our P&B's fall within the OEM's specified strokes but we go a step further to specify which range they fall within standard flow ranges to better assist our customer in matching tips and P&B's to flow as they require.
What are Melex F.I.S. terms and conditions?
1.) We offer Net 30 Day terms an open account for frequent purchasers customers who have established credit limit with us (after applying). All others we require prepayment by check, money order, wire transfer or COD.
2.) All shipments are ExWorks Whse - Raleigh, NC (packing included)
3.) We offer shipment sent by UPS prepaid with freight billed with invoice or Freight Collect by LCL of your choice.
4.) All prices are in U.S. Dollars (ExWorks Melex Warehouse).
5.) No products can be returned without prior authorization of Roman or Shelly.
6.) There will be a 15% restocking fee applied to returned parts unless otherwise agreed.
What is Melex F.I.S. warranty on parts sold?
LIMITED NEW PARTS WARRANTY
The new parts furnished by Melex FIS are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of six (6) months from date of first installation in an engine, 100,000 miles, 2,000 hours or twelve (12) months from date of shipment or manufacture, whichever comes first. This warranty applies to all owners in the chain of distribution, i.e., distributor, dealer, original owner, until the end of the respective periods of coverage and shall not apply to subsequent owners.
The obligation of Melex FIS under this warranty, statutory or otherwise, is limited to the replacement of any parts returned to us within the specified limits and which our inspection discloses to our satisfaction to have been defective. Proof of purchase may be required. Melex FIS shall in no event be liable for any consequential damages or contingent liabilities arising from the failure of a part or parts to function properly.
This warranty shall not apply to normal wear and tear, nor to any part or parts which have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or to damage caused by water or deposits being present in the fuel, nor to part or parts improperly installed, applied or serviced. It is the owner’s responsibility to operate and maintain the engine or engines as specified in the APPLICABLE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS.
There are no warranties expressed, implied or statutory made by other than set forth herein. Further, we neither assume nor authorize any other person to assume for us any other liability in connection with our products.
